Kathryn is a self taught photographer, reading books and magazines, developing and processing film in the dark room, working for school portrait photography companies, learning from other photographers, and genre specific workshops like CANWARN and is now a certified Storm Spotter for Environment Canada. She is always gaining new knowledge and applying new techniques and new equipment the latest is Video and at present, learning to fly a Quad Copter for Aerial Photography. She loves to photograph those quickly passing moments of life and all of life’s events. One of those events is weather. It plays a major part of our lives even if we don’t realize it. Her fascination with weather began when she was a preteen and continues today.
