Patricia Henderson lives in Wallaceburg, Ontario, where she was born and raised. Working full time at a medical laboratory, she spends most of her spare time creating art. Patty started painting in watercolours around 10 years ago. This led to an interest in discovering many different mediums. Currently she loves "painting with paper" or collage art. She uses a variety of hand stained and painted papers plus recycled paper from magazines, maps and other interesting sources. Carefully, she cuts or tears the paper and adheres it to canvas creating a beautiful and colourful painting. Patty is proud of her artistic ancestry. Her great, great uncle was renowned Canadian Landscape painter Homer Watson.
