This old tobacco barn on the back of my grandfather's farm is still in use today, and I always enjoy the look of this scene as I walk by it.
Rebecca Sykes is a graduating student at Blenheim District High School who has taken visual arts throughout her high school career. One of her paintings, The Origin, was recently shown in the 2011 High Class Art Show at the Thames Art Gallery. Next year, she will be attending Carleton University in Ottawa to study Canadian history and art history.
