Melissa Pearce first developed a love for art in her hometown of Tilbury. After graduating from Ursuline College Chatham, Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in visual arts at Brock University. This past year Melissa graduated from the University of Windsor with her Honours in Fine Art. She plans to attend teachers college in the fall.

The new and advanced windmills are dotting farms in our region in the hopes to harness a natural source of energy. However, many disagree with the resource as some feel it “ruins” the landscape. This painting is of an old windmill on a farm in Chatham-Kent. $400
