RUTH DRIEDGER
(Leamington) Ruth Driedger was born and raised on a farm in Wheatley, Ontario where her family grew corn, soybeans, wheat and tomatoes. She studied music in Winnipeg then moved to Saskatoon in 1976 where she raised three children and worked as a Choral Music Conductor. She received her Bachelor of Education from University of Saskatchewan in 2002. Since returning to Ontario, Ruth conducted the County Classic Chorale in Leamington and after retiring in 2006 she took up painting. She is currently a Court Reporter in Chatham. Ruth’s paintings reflect a variety of subjects including still life, portraits, landscape, flowers and birds, nature scenes and a form of enchanted realism.
